ABOUT THE BOOKING PROCESS

• DO YOU HAVE A NIGHT MINIMUM TO BOOK?

  
  For individual stays in the Cabin, Barn, or Dairy:
  
  – Weeknights (Mon–Thurs): 1-night stays are available
  – Weekends (Fri–Sun): 2-night minimum
  
  For combination stays or exclusive use of the entire property, a 2-night minimum applies year-round.
  
  

• I AM SEARCHING FOR A DATE WINDOW, BUT NOTHING IS COMING UP?

  
  If no results appear when searching, it most likely means we’re already booked.
  
  We recommend extending your search dates—availability can book out several months in advance. You can also view each property’s calendar directly via its listing page.
  
  If you’d like to be added to our waitlist for a particular date, please get in touch at thesurfnest@gmail.com with your preferred dates and the space you’re interested in. We’ll let you know if something becomes available.
  
  

• I HAVE SELECTED DATES BUT IT WON'T LET ME BOOK?

  
  Please ensure you’ve selected the number of guests using the dropdown beneath the calendar—your booking can’t be finalised without this step.
  
  

• HOW MUCH DO YOU TAKE AS A DEPOSIT?

  
  A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to check-in.
  
  Your reservation will be confirmed once the deposit has been successfully processed.
  
  

• IS THERE A BOND?

  
  – For Individual stays in the Cabin, Barn or Dairy, a $400 bond is held as a pre-authorisation on your credit card.
  
  – For combination stays, the bond is $700
  
  – For exclusive use of the entire property, the bond is $1,500.
  
  This hold is processed at check-in and automatically released within 24 hours of check-out, provided the property is left respectfully and in the condition it was found.
  We’ve poured a great deal of care and attention into each space, and we simply ask that it’s treated with the same care in return.
  
  

• I AM TRYING TO BOOK, BUT IT WONT LET ME?

  
  Please ensure your booking meets the minimum night stay requirements:
  
  – 1-night stays are available mid-week (Mon–Thurs)
  
  – 2-night minimum applies on weekends (Fri–Sun)
  
  During select public holiday periods, a 3-night minimum may apply.
