WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?
Check-in is from 4pm. Check-out is by 10am.
Self check-in details will be sent to you prior to arrival, so you can settle in at your own pace.

CAN I CHECK-IN EARLY, OR CHECK-OUT LATE?
We may be able to offer early check-in or late check-out, depending on availability and our housekeeping schedule.
If we have guests arriving the same day, we’ll need the full turnover window to prepare the space with care for our next guests.

WHAT IS THERE TO DO AT THE SURF NEST?
Many guests come here to enjoy the sea, the mountain, or simply to settle in and embrace the quiet rhythm of the Taranaki coast and the sauna.
After booking, you’ll receive access to our local surf spots map and a curated digital guidebook, featuring thoughtful recommendations, local favourites, and considered ways to experience the Taranaki region at your own pace.

IS THE SURF NEST SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN AND INFANTS?
Children and infants are welcome at the Surf Nest, though we do ask that they are closely supervised throughout your stay.
Guests will need to bring their own cot and high chair if required.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?
As much as we appreciate the companionship of animals, the Surf Nest isn’t suited to accommodate pets. Thank you for your understanding.

DO YOU PROVIDE BEDLINEN AND TOWELS?
All bed linen, towels and dish cloths are provided.

WHAT AMENITIES ARE SUPPLIED?
We supply organic coffee/tea, sugar, olive oil, salt/pepper, Ecostore NZ shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand wash and cleaning products.

IS THERE A HAIRDRYER?
A hairdryer is provided in the guest unit bathroom for your convenience.
